MICROSOFT VULNERABILITIES

ARDx Informatics, Inc. reviews all Microsoft security patches when they are released. The review of latest Security Bulletins is currently underway. Microsoft rates some of these as 'critical' but the vulnerabilities may in fact pose no risk to the RALS System if customers adhere to the intended use of the RALS System.

MS Patches NOT Critical to the RALS System Functionality
If we determine that the vulnerability as described in a Microsoft bulletin should not adversely affect the RALS System functionality when the system is used as intended, the security patch will be tested and included in the next routine product version release.  Should the user apply the patches, Informatics cannot guarantee or warranty its operation or impact on the RALS System.  In this situation there will be no routine customer notification. 

MS Patches Critical to the RALS System Functionality
If it is determined that the security vulnerability as described in a Microsoft bulletin is critical to the RALS System functionality, we will notify customers via email communication and by notice on our website. 

• We will then begin immediate regression testing of the security patch against the RALS System and notify customers via email communication and on our website when that testing is complete. We will also provide measures for applying the corresponding patches, as available.
• Customers may choose to install the security patches without waiting for the testing to be completed.  However, unless ARDx Informatics has successfully tested a patch ARDx Informatics cannot warranty or guarantee its operation or impact with the RALS System.

.NET Core Upgrade Guidance
Effective with the December 2020 Microsoft Security Bulletin Update, ARDx Informatics has provided guidance on the .NET Core upgrade procedure for the RALS application.

2024

• August 2024: Microsoft security updates for August 2024 were released on Tuesday, August 13. ARDx Informatics has assessed all MS security patches to date and determined that these patches will have no adverse effects on the RALS System. The assessment also includes the most recent .Net Core Hosting bundle updates 2.1.30 and 3.1.32
• July 2024: Microsoft security updates for July 2024 were released on Tuesday, July 9.
