Is there a way I can ‘auto recertify” my operators?
- Yes. On the Recertifications Page, you can set up a recertification set that can be run automatically at 1:00 AM or can also be run manually.
- To set up the Recertification set, click add and name the set.
- Click Auto-Certify checkbox to recertify Operators when they meet defined criteria, such as passing quizzes or completing a number of successful QCs. A default certification set cannot be set to auto-recertify.
- Enter one or both of the following Expiration Criteria. At least one of these settings must be enabled. (checked = enabled, un-checked = disabled)
- Enable the Will Expire in the Next "number of" Days by checking the box to the left of the setting, and enter the number of days for this setting.
- Enable the Has Expired in the Last "number of" Days by checking the box to the left of the setting, and enter the number of days for this setting.
- Select one from the following for the New Expiration Date.
- Six Months
- One Year
- "Number of" Months From Today and enter the number of months for this setting.
- Specific Date
- Enter the maximum number of days prior to recertification within which Result Criteria requirements must be satisfied in order to qualify for recertification and set one or more of the following Result Criteria. At least one of these settings must be enabled. Note: These settings vary by device type, some tests might not appear in the Result Criteria pane and other tests may be available that are not listed here. However, the functionality of test settings remains the same regardless of available test types.
- Enable the Ran "number of" Patient Test Results by checking the box to the left of the setting, and enter the number of results required for this setting.
- Enable the Ran "number of" QC Test Results by checking the box to the left of the setting, and enter the number of results required for this setting. Not all device types support this setting.
- Specify the specific IDs for results by typing in ID numbers. If there are multiple IDs, separate them with commas.
- Enable the Test Observed setting.
- Enable the Passed Exam setting.
- Select any of the following Education Verification Criteria. (Optional)
- Has Diploma
- Has Transcript
- Has License
- Has Primary Source Verification
- Once you have completed the set-up process, you must assign locations to the Recertification set
- Select (click on and highlight) the recertification set you want to assign locations
- Click the Assign Locations button in the toolbar to display the Assign Recertification Set Locations dialog
- Place check marks in the check-boxes next to the locations you want to assign to the selected recertification set by clicking the check-box (i.e. checked = location is assigned, un-checked = location is not assigned). Note that the current assignment for each location is given in parentheses following the location name. When a location is assigned to the new recertification set the system removes it from the previously assigned set.
- Click the Save button to save locations to the selected recertification set and close the Assign Recertification Set Locations dialog.
- If you have selected “Auto Recertify” RALS will recertify all operators based on the set at 1:00 AM. You may also click “recertify” to run the set manually at any time.
